It’s time again for the upcoming San Diego Salsa Bachata Kizomba Festival and if you plan on taking part in any of the festivities you will want to know when things will be happening. The California Center for the Arts, Escondido will be hosting FREE Latin music nights throughout September which will include live bands and the opportunity to partake in some great food as well.
The concerts are scheduled to take place 4 Fridays in September beginning first with Norteña music on September 4th and 11th and Salsa music on September 18th and 25th. Manny Cepeda Orchestra Quartet will be playing live on the salsa nights so you’ll want to bring your dance shoes to enjoy live music as shown in the video below:

The San Diego Salsa Bachata Kizomba Festival is about a month away and there are some important updates recently released related to the event that you should know about.
The official band of the San Diego Salsa Bachata Kizomba Festival is Tarzana, a 10 piece band with music that harks back to the 1950’s and 1960’s era bands. If you haven’t heard their music here is a video showing their talent:
Along with this announcement is an updated list of the many instructors that will be teaching workshops and lessons throughout the whole event. Many well known names including San Diego’s David and Jennifer Stein and Alejandra Quintero will be hosting all sorts of instructions for those eager to learn.
