Dancers for Humanity is collecting donations for San Diego’s homeless and Ooh La La Dance Company will be hosting a special event called BOMBS AWAY! 1940’s Pin-Up PARTY to help.
Come dressed in 1940’s pin up dresses or mobster attire. The video below explains in more detail what the event will be all about:
The best part of about this event is that with a donation to San Diego’s homeless it is absolutely FREE to attend before 10pm! Here is a list of items Dancers for Humanity is requesting that you please donate:
Dancers for Humanity is presenting another opportunity to help the homeless. The event is dubbed “Dance Around the World” and will have a multi-cultural dance theme. Attendees are encouraged to represent their country and cultures of origin by wearing traditional dress and costumes. The goal of the event is to collect essential items from the following list of items for the homeless people:
BOTTLED WATER, HAND RADIOs, BATTERIES, TAMPONS, FEMALE PRODUCT PADS, SOCKS, TOILER PAPER, SUNBLOCK, BAND AIDS, SMALL BOX OF BABY WIPES, FLASH LIGHT WITH BATTERIES, TRASH BAGS, SUNGLASSES, GREETING AND THANK YOU CARDS, ETC.
Along with the donations drive there will be giveaways including free music CD’s, free dance shoes, dance lessons and a host of other items that will be raffled.
Dancers for Humanity is hosting it’s first event, “A Black and White Affair” in order to raise money to buy essentials for the homeless here in San Diego. Dancers for Humanity will have several events with different themes that are fun yet highlight the purpose to come together for humanity.
