Although we host different events at clubs, studios and other venues the one event I personally host is the 1st Thursday Salsa Meetup event at Cafe Sevilla each month. I wanted to share this video created by Lolly Aita that does a great job of capturing some of the key things you’ll see at the Meetup I host:
The San Diego Salsa and Latin Dancing Meetup Group and RitmoBello.com are continuing the tradition of 1st Thursdays at Cafe Sevilla this January 3rd, 2013.
The event is open to everyone and we encourage you to bring any friends. This particular event is a great way to mingle and connect with interested dancers that are new to the San Diego area. This is especially new with a new year and many of you that have dance resolutions can make sure to start 2013 off right by attending.
We’ll meet downstairs at 8pm in the Meetup.com area of the club that will be reserved for our group. Look for the Meetup.com signs I will have on the tables close to the DJ booth. Walter Meneses and his wife Jeannette will give a free salsa lesson starting at 8:30pm.
The final 1st Thursdays of the Month with Meetup.com for 2012 is coming up December 6th and this month will have a “Celebrate December” theme. Come out in your holiday Christmas wear and be ready to dance the night away!
