Transforming non Salsa Shoes into Salsa shoes Using Suede Heel Wraps

Let’s say you have a whole collection of shoes that you know would work great for your dancing but the rough heel tip simply won’t work on the hard dance floor.  The easy solution is to apply suede heel wraps to the back tip and transform that shoe collection into your salsa dance toolbox of fashion. Suede heel wraps are a simple fix that are easy and quick to apply to any shoe with a heel.  The wrap simply goes around the tip and with a little work you can trim the excess pieces that show to keep the suede only on the non-visible bottom part of the heel.  The result of this application is a shoe that allows for better turns, spins and maneuverability making for an overall better dance experience.

The suede heel wrap can be found at EK Clothing with a keyword search of “suede”.  Also don’t forget the front part of the shoe with the toebox area that can benefit from application of the same type of material.   If you have any other  suggestions for adapting heels to dancing feel free to leave a comment.

Thanks and see you all on the dance floor.
