San Diego will soon hear the artistic expression of Afro-Brazilian beats at Copley Symphony Hall in March. Dance Brazil will be performing a two part performance including Banguela (a special rhythm played to calm down capoeiristas when their martial arts gets heated) and FÉ DO SERTÃO, a glimpse into a often difficult but rich way of life and also a centuries-old related celebration from regions in Brazil.
To get a better idea of what the evening has in store check out this video of their past performances:
The Capoeira Foundation/DanceBrazil receives generous support  from the National Endowment for the Arts, the New York State Council on the Arts, a state agency, public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, the Horace W. Goldsmith Foundation,  and the Instituto de Arte Urbana da Bahia (IABUA).  Here in San Diego you can also do your part to show your support for the group by attending this one night event.
The San Diego Salsa and Latin Dancing Meetup Group & RitmoBello.com will be in attendance for this performance and you can learn more at our event page on the San Diego Salsa and Latin Dancing Meetup Group calendar.
Don’t miss out on a great event here in San Diego!
