The 7th Annual All White Boat Party is set to launch on June 13, 2015 and if you’ve been on the cruise in the past you know what fun is in store for you again this year.
If you are new to the event, though, I can try to paint a picture of what you can expect. The Inspiration Yacht (the largest of the vessels provided by Hornblower Cruises) will be jammed pack with 1,000 dancers ready to party the night away. Three dance floors will be available on the yacht with live salsa/bachata music, top 40 DJ’s spinning the best dance music and belly dance music as well. The event has a dress in all white theme which in my opinion adds a touch of elegance to the affair, especially when most folks show up in really nice white suits or beautiful white dresses.
If you want to catch a glimpse of what this all looks like this video does a good job of giving you a brief preview:
Tickets always sell out for this event so it would be a good idea to buy your tickets now to avoid being left at the dock.
The San Diego Salsa Bachata Kizomba Festival is months away but it’s not too early to save on passes if you already planning on going. The all event passes are only $119 (and usually go up in price) and will give you access to all the workshops, dance shows and great social dance socials where you can meet people from all over the world.
The folks over at Sabor on the Bay are bringing to San Diego another great upcoming boat party and this time the theme is right in line with Halloween. The Dia De Los Muertos Boat Party hosted by Sabor on the Bay will feature the same great music choices on various floors of entertainment but with the added focus of Halloween you’ll be able to see ghosts, goblins and heroes of all sorts dancing the night away.
This intimate yacht party will feature 2 floors of entertainment with salsa/bachata and hip hop/top 40 throughout the night. Only 600 tickets will be available for this event so make sure you secure your ticket and avoid being left at the dock.
Don’t forget to wear your favorite Halloween costume to join in the festivities and to be entered automatically into the Best Costume competition during the night with a chance to win some money.
We are less than a few weeks away from the upcoming San Diego Salsa Bachata Kizomba Festival and more information is now available for the event. Kizomba dance is uniquely African and has its origins in the music of the Angolan people. Described as a very sensual dance similar to bachata and merengue, it is distinct in its African rhythm that sets it apart from the traditional latin music in the dance scene. If you’ve never seen the dance before here is a short video clip showing it in action:
During the San Diego Salsa Bachata Kizomba Festival you can have an opportunity to learn from master Kizomba instructor Lucia Nogueira in one of the many workshops to be held over the course of the Labor Day Weekend. The San Diego Salsa Bachata Kizomba Festival is August 28th through the 31st during Labor Day Weekend and you can still secure your tickets before it sells out on the official website for the event.
