The 5th Annual San Diego Salsa Bachata Festival is now over but we have some great memories from the event. I’ve uploaded a number of videos from the event (still working on some uploads) but you can see them all at Ritmo Bello’s YouTube Channel. The San Diego Salsa and Latin Dancing Meetup Group along with RitmoBello.com are hosting our third Meetup.com night at Cafe Sevilla.
This event will have a dress in black theme in honor of Halloween. Also, we are going to have a Meet and Greet Theme for October. We are asking our members to please come at 8pm in order to meet and greet before the music and lesson begins!
Cafe Sevilla is offering drink specials only to our Meetup.com members. Also members will get 1/2 off the cover price if you arrive before 9:30pm. The restaurant is giving away a gift certificate in a raffle again but you’ll have to come early at 8pm to be entered to win (plus you can take the FREE salsa lesson which starts at 8:30pm).

I’m very excited to share news about a new Wednesday night option for salsa dancing here in San Diego. Spin Nightclub will boast San Diego newest and biggest night club for salsa and Latin dancing that we’ve ever seen. Hosted by Salsa Susie’s Ooh La La dance company every 4th Wednesday each month, the new venue will feature 3 levels, 2 rooms, over 10,000 Square Feet and a 24 hour license to allow till dawn salsa dancing to your heart’s content.
The 1st Annual World Latin Dance Cup is coming soon to San Diego and the organizers have come out with a new updated schedule for the event. Wednesday December 15th is the first qualifying night with Thursday and Friday slated as semi final competition nights. The final competition will take place on Saturday December 18th.
