1st Thursdays of the Month with Meetup.com is coming up November 1st and this month a thanksgiving theme by thanking a friend through inviting them out to salsa dance.
The event is open to everyone so feel free to come alone or bring any friends. In the past new members of our group have found this particular event a great way to mingle and connect with interested dancers.
We’ll meet downstairs at 8pm in the Meetup.com area of the club that will be reserved for our group. Look for the Meetup.com signs. Walter Meneses and his wife Jeannette will give a free salsa lesson starting at 9pm. As an added bonus the General Manager for Cafe Sevilla is donating free passes for entry into Cafe Sevilla’s club that will be given away in a raffle to those who come early for the salsa dance lesson.
1st Thursdays of the Month with Meetup.com on April 12 is coming just in time for spring so be ready to meet and greet new members who love salsa dancing as much as you do. The date was moved from April 5th to April 12th in observance of Holy Thursday during Holy Week.

1st Thursdays of the Month with Meetup.com is coming up again and with it a great opportunity to meet new people here in San Diego. It’s hard to believe that this is the final Meetup event for 2011 at Cafe Sevilla!
Please bring any new, unwrapped toys for donating to the Marine Toys for Tots. In exchange Cafe Sevilla is giving those who donate 1/2 off the cover price before 9:30pm. We will have an area on site at the event (8pm to 10pm) to collect any new unwrapped toys to help out the less fortunate during this Christmas season. For those of you unfamiliar with the Marine Toys for Tots organization check out these videos here that explain some of the great services they provide to our community:
