The San Diego Salsa Bachata Kizomba Festival is about a month away and there are some important updates recently released related to the event that you should know about.
The official band of the San Diego Salsa Bachata Kizomba Festival is Tarzana, a 10 piece band with music that harks back to the 1950’s and 1960’s era bands. If you haven’t heard their music here is a video showing their talent:
Along with this announcement is an updated list of the many instructors that will be teaching workshops and lessons throughout the whole event. Many well known names including San Diego’s David and Jennifer Stein and Alejandra Quintero will be hosting all sorts of instructions for those eager to learn. Many of San Diego’s dance teams and studios have been busy upgrading their online presence over the last few months. The site is simple yet elegant and gets you the information you need about the organization.
Deseo Dance also upgraded their online image recently with a new website that integrates the essential information you need along with a sleek presentation. Some of the video links are still being upgraded but overall it looks like a great start to match Deseo’s powerful image.
Other dance studios and teams are working with their established online presence, continuously adding new content that is appealing. Salsa Susie’s Ooh La La Dance offers easy ways to reach information and in particular videos of performances in case you missed a recent competition on their nice website.

The new salsa dance venue boasts a huge dance floor, full bar, dinner/drink specials and free parking around the hotel every Friday night. The San Diego Salsa and Latin Dancing Meetup group along with Ritmo Bello will be there to start the new year off right with some great salsa dancing.

A Time to Dance and Majesty in Motion, two highly respected and premier dance companies in San Diego, are presenting this unique event at the newly remodeled Four Points Sheraton. The event is unique because it is the first time there will be two different dance companies coming together to do a joint salsa class. The event will be a great opportunity for anyone interested in going to experience a class with David, Jennifer, Angel and Tulane all together.
Other good reasons to go are the live band that will be performing, dance performances, a Jack & Jill contest where you can compete for some holiday cash and free parking.
There are also rumors that a new salsa dance venue will be opening soon with the announcement to be made at the San Diego Christmas Salsa Jam so don’t miss out!
