Although the 10th Annual San Diego Salsa Bachata Kizomba Festival is months away I want to let you know about an important change to the event. In past years the event was held in late August/early September but this year the festival will take place on November 25-27th (which coincidentally is Thanksgiving weekend).
The new date for the event may make it easier for folks to attend since it falls during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend and will also help motivate people from out of town (i.e. coming from snow states) to enjoy the nice San Diego weather.

The official band of the San Diego Salsa Bachata Kizomba Festival is Tarzana, a 10 piece band with music that harks back to the 1950’s and 1960’s era bands. If you haven’t heard their music here is a video showing their talent:
Along with this announcement is an updated list of the many instructors that will be teaching workshops and lessons throughout the whole event. Many well known names including San Diego’s David and Jennifer Stein and Alejandra Quintero will be hosting all sorts of instructions for those eager to learn. The San Diego Salsa Bachata Kizomba Festival is fast approaching and with it RitmoBello.com will be sending out updates and important information to help you plan for it.
A new thing that is being offered this year are dance specific dance passes where you can take advantage of your own workshops, dancing and mingling with like minded individuals. Kizomba dancers, for example, will have their own foyer, workshop room and social dancing area until 4am in the morning for the event on most nights. The unique passes will allow you to really hone in on a particular dance that you want to focus on and immerse yourself in that particular genre of music.
