As you may already know, Cafe Sevilla is closed at the old 4th Avenue location as it moves to a bigger location in the Gaslamp. While the physical restaurant and dance club is closed temporarily, the actual organization is hard at work bringing events to San Diego’s dancers.
One event you should not miss is coming up at the end of the month, the Cafe Sevilla Halloween Salsa Bachata Party on October 29th. The party will be held nearby at The Abbey, a 100 year old venue with 50 foot ceilings and definitely a great spooky place for a Halloween party.
The party will feature 2 bands, a Halloween costume contest with a $300 giveaway and plenty of salsa/bachata music throughout the night. Ritmo Bello and the San Diego Salsa and Latin Dancing Meetup Group will be there (in costume of course) to enjoy the event with you.
